"Past phases sold out the first day, and this last section will be no different," predicted Scott Mueller, sales manager for the development.
This is the project's sixth phase. Wooded lots start at $64,900, with water- and marsh-front sites beginning at $119,900. The properties are up to three-quarters of an acre in size.
"This final phase is filled with some of our most desirable wooded interior and marsh-front home sites, and all our properties have deepwater access," Mueller said. Beresford Creek offers access to the Cooper and Wando rivers.
The special sale will offer discounts up to $10,000, no closing costs, and special low-interest rate financing for qualified buyers, said Ken Norris, with Inland Management, one of the development partners.
Construction at Beresford Creek Landing began in late 2001. The subdivision, in Berkeley County near Daniel Island, will have 144 homes when completed. Community amenities include a clubhouse with swimming pool and tennis courts, gas street lights, paved walkways for biking and jogging, underground utilities and a waterfront park with dock for use by residents, Norris said. Home prices run from $290,000 to $1.4 million. The homes have a size minimum of 2,000 square feet.
While the houses are custom designed, standard choices include modern appliances, large porches, high ceilings and hardwood floors. Exterior siding includes fiber-cement and stucco.
The neighborhood should not be confused with Beresford Hall, likewise an upscale development off Clements Ferry Road.
The sales day is by appointment only. To reach the community, take the Clements Ferry exit off Interstate 526 and turn inland. The property is across the street from Daniel Island Marina. For more information, contact Beresford Creek Landing at 1-800-258-6532 or online at www.scwaterfront.com.
